Typeface and text styles

Typeface and text styles improve the web experience by enhancing how users read, navigate, and interact with content.

The typeface used across all Penn Medicine websites and digital products is Plus Jakarta Sans.

Text styles for body copy, buttons, links, and tags are applied consistently across device types. Text styles for headers vary between desktop and mobile displays to accommodate screen size and readability.

Minimum font size and all text sizes have been designed to comply with WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility standards.
